“As part of the rural community, our environment and landscape mean everything to us.
Sourcing local food wherever possible is top of our list.”
ANDREA MELLOR, MANAGER & OWNER
Craggies Farm Shop is a family owned butchers and deli based in Cragg Vale, near Hebden bridge.
We champion local farmers and producers from Yorkshire and the surrounding regions, with many producers also neighbours and friends. Not only does this help strengthen the local economy, but it helps to conserve the surrounding countryside and protect our local businesses.
You’ll find specialist jams, marmalades and chutneys too, and lots of wonderful meat ‘rubs’ to accommodate our fresh quality meat.
We choose to work with local growers and farmers wherever we can, to ensure a consistently high standard of fruit and vegetables for our customers.
Local suppliers, like Valley Veg and The Fruit Factory, provide us with some of the freshest produce from the UK and further afield. Expert growers such as Spilmans in Thirsk, also supply us with the finest Yorkshire asparagus and soft fruits during the season.
Choosing locally-sourced, seasonal British produce helps us all to reduce our environmental impact for generations to come.
All our pies and pastries are freshly baked in house, every single day.
If you’ve heard of Craggies, you’ll know about our famous pork pies – as well as our mouthwatering selection of cheeses, charcuterie and freshly baked breads – also baked in-house.
Have something planned? We also offer bespoke bakes and outside catering for parties and other events.
With views of Stoodley Pike and the surrounding hilltops, you’ll understand why we are so popular with hikers, bikers, and all of our four-legged friends!
All our meals are prepared by experienced chefs in our 5-star hygiene rated kitchen, using the same fresh, locally-sourced produce we sell in our farm shop.
We also serve a selection of high quality teas and coffees to enjoy alongside, or on their own!
